OUT OF IRAQ! AWAY WITH THE USA-NATO BASES!

United States have organized and managed the elections to legitimate their invasion and conquest of Iraq and forge a comprador-bourgeoisie government that allows them to control the country and to undermine the resistance of the Iraqi people as an integral part of a plan aiming to strengthen the US position in this strategic region so as to transform it in a base for new aggressions against Iran and Syria.

The Iraqi people have given its response to these elections by fighting these elections. Lot of voters too have said no to the occupation. In the Shiite and Kurdish regions have pushed the masses in the sense of exercising a certain influence on the future of the country. The elections have occurred in militarized towns, and lists and candidates were often unknown to everyone. During the elections massacres, arrests and tortures continued. Just after the elections the military machine became active to repeat in Ramadi what they did in Falluja. It's in this climate that we can consider the attempt to kill the journalist of "Il Manifesto", Giuliana Sgrena, too.

The Berlusconi government has strongly sustained the election campaign and soon after has declared that the Italian occupation troops will stay there for almost a year more and will be better armed. The parliament has refinanced the military mission subtracting funds to the social spending.

The fake parliamentary opposition, that sees on the frontline Rutelli and Fassino, have utilized the elections to pursue their march to be always more closer to the Berlusconi government position and now they too say that the imperialist American troops and the Italian soldiers mustn't retreat and that those who really are resisting are those who go to vote and that the Iraqi resistance is 'terrorism' that must be overcome and crushed. Bertinotti has joined this position too, although maintaining his opposition to the war, he considers on the same level the war and the resistance saying that this is terrorism and making propaganda for the politics of "non-violence" under the military occupation, which is in fact the position of the puppet Iraqi government.

Against the imperialist war, against the occupation of Iraq, against the presence in the region of Italian imperialism, it's necessary more than ever to re-launch and develop the great opposition mass movement which has pushed in the latest years millions of people to demonstrate within the imperialist countries and within our country. The demonstrations of 19th, 20th march developing in the whole world demand the withdrawing of the imperialist troops and the withdrawing of the Italian soldiers from Iraq. But these demonstrations must openly sustain the Iraqi resistance and the blows this gives to the imperialist occupation.

It's necessary to intensify the struggle within the imperialist countries and the opposition movement against the war must take root socially and territorially. It's necessary to denounce that the popular masses pay the costs of the war trough the cuts to the social spending, and to promote the mobilisation of the workers trough the strikes against the war. It's necessary to demand the closure of the Nato/Usa bases that in different forms are all assuming a central role in Bush's infinite war. It's well known now that the bases of Aviano and Ghedi are deposits of atomic weapons and that the Rimini airport is being transformed in technical landing for the US troops going to Iraq, and that Taranto has become the greatest naval bases of the Mediterranean and the real intention is to construct a new US naval base. The US command will be transferred to Napoli, while Bagnoli is the training place of the Iraqi military and police and the whole national territory is being inserted in the imperialist war plans and in the imperialist role of Italy, and the populations of the territory where the bases are located pay all this in terms of militarization, restrictions of democratic spaces, war economy, radioactive environmental pollution.

The fight against imperialism must go beyond the limits of a national mobilization once in a year and take the road for a prolonged and permanent mobilization that pushes the masses against the bases, the institution palaces, blocking the war transportations and the territory, and in the strong demand of the smashing down of the war government.

The quantity of people that we can mobilize in these demonstrations is an important fact, but these numbers must be constructed in the clarity of a permanent and prolonged battle able to reach its own aims. In this sense it's clear that is incompatible with the fight movement against the war the position of the majority of parliamentary opposition, staying with Prodi, that only wants to strengthen the European pillar in a contrast/collusion with the US imperialism, but which is favourable to the war, to the imperialist control of the oil, that calls "terrorism" all the resistance of the peoples like Iraq, Palestine, and people's wars in Nepal, India, Philippines too. They stand for the permanence of the bases, the strengthening of military machinery. And within the anti-war movement it also must be isolated the position of the today majority of 'Rifondazione Comunista' (the revisionist party) that acts as a support of the parliamentary left, which always more pushes itself to the sabotage of the demonstrations against the war on a local and on a national level, as it has been with the demonstrations of the 19th and 20th in Rome.

Gli Stati Uniti hanno montato, gestito le elezioni al fine di legittimare la loro invasione e la conquista dell'Irak e di forgiare un governo di borghesia compradora che gli permetta di esercitare il controllo del paese a largo raggio e cercare di minare la resistenza del popolo irakeno, come parte integrante di un piano per rafforzare la posizione Usa in questa regione strategica e farne base di appoggio di nuove aggressioni verso Iran e Siria.

Il popolo irakeno ha risposto a queste elezioni, opponendosi alle elezioni. Anche molti di quelli che hanno votato si oppongono all'occupazione. Nelle regioni sciite e kurde, hanno indirizzato le masse verso la linea di esercitare una certa influenza sul futuro del paese. Le elezioni si sono svolte in città militarizzate, con liste e candidati spesso neanche fatti conoscere. Durante le elezioni sono continuati massacri, arresti, torture. Subito dopo le elezioni si è rimessa in moto la macchina bellica allo scopo di ripetere a Ramadi il massacro di Falluja. E in questo clima che va inserito anche il tentativo di esecuzione della giornalista del Manifesto, Giuliana Sgrena.

Il governo Berlusconi ha sostenuto a spada tratta il processo elettorale e subito dopo ha dichiarato che le truppe di occupazione italiana resteranno almeno ancora per un anno e saranno meglio armate. Il parlamento ha rifinanziato la missione militare sottraendo fondi alle spese sociali. La falsa opposizione parlamentare, con in prima linea Rutelli e Fassino, hanno utilizzato le elezioni per proseguire nella loro marcia di avvicinamento alla posizione del governo Berlusconi e ora sostengono anch'essi che le truppe imperialiste americane e i soldati italiani non devono ritirarsi e che i veri resistenti sono chi ha votato e che la resistenza irakena è terrorismo che bisogna debellare e schiacciare. A questa posizione si è unito Bertinotti che, pur mantenendo la sua opposizione alla guerra, mette sullo stesso piano guerra e resistenza assimilandola al terrorismo e propugnando la 'non violenza' sotto occupazione militare, che è di fatto la posizione del governo fantoccio irakeno.

Contro la guerra imperialista, contro l'occupazione in Irak, contro la presenza dell'imperialismo italiano, è necessario più che mai rilanciare e sviluppare un grande movimento di opposizione di massa che ha portato negli anni scorsi milioni di persone in piazza all'interno dei paesi imperialisti e all'interno del nostro paese.

Le manifestazioni del 19, 20 marzo che si sviluppano in tutto il mondo rivendicano il ritiro delle truppe imperialiste e il ritiro dei soldati italiani dall'Irak. Ma esse devono sostenere apertamente il sostegno alla resistenza irakena, il sostegno ai colpi che essa infligge alle truppe di occupazione imperialista.

E' necessario intensificare la lotta all'interno dei paesi imperialisti e radicare socialmente e territorialmente il movimento di opposizione alla guerra. Denunciare che i costi della guerra li pagano le masse popolari con il taglio delle spese sociali e promuovere la mobilitazione dei lavoratori attraverso lo sciopero contro la guerra.

E' necessario richiedere la chiusura delle Basi Nato/Usa che in forme differenti vanno tutte assumendo un ruolo chiave nella guerra infinita di Bush. E' divenuto di dominio pubblico che le Basi di Aviano e Ghedi sono depositi di armi atomiche e che l'Aeroporto di Rimini viene trasformata in scalo tecnico per le truppe Usa dirette in Irak, e che a Taranto la nuova Base navale è divenuta la più grande del Mediterraneo e si intende avanzare verso una nuova Base americana. A Napoli si trasferisce il comando Usa, a Bagnoli si addestrano la polizia e i militari irakeni e tutto il territorio nazionale viene inserito nei piani di guerra dell'imperialismo e nel ruolo imperialista dell'Italia e le popolazioni dei territori delle Basi pagano questo in termini di militarizzazione, restrizione degli spazi democratici, economia di guerra, inquinamento radioattivo ambientale.

La lotta all'imperialismo e alle sue guerre deve superare i limiti di una mobilitazione nazionale una volta all'anno e prendere la strada di una mobilitazione permanente e prolungata che mobiliti le masse nell'assedio delle Basi, dei Palazzi delle istituzioni, nel blocco dei trasporti di guerra e del territorio e nella richiesta della caduta del governo della guerra.

Sono importanti i numeri che si riescono a mobilitare nelle manifestazioni, ma i numeri vanno costruiti nella chiarezza di una battaglia permanente e prolungata che voglia raggiungere gli obiettivi che si propone. In questo senso è incompatibile col movimento di lotta contro la guerra, la posizione della maggioranza dell'opposizione parlamentare, raccolta intorno a Prodi, che vuole solo rafforzare il pilastro europeo in contesa-collusione con l'imperialismo Usa, ma che è a favore della guerra, del controllo imperialista del petrolio, che definisce la resistenza dei popoli in Irak, come in Palestina, fino alle guerre popolari in Nepal, India, Filippine, ecc. "terrorismo". E' a avore della permanenza delle Basi, è a favore del rafforzamento degli apparati delle forze armate. Come pure va isolata nel movimento contro la guerra la posizione dell'attuale maggioranza di Rifondazione che agisce come puntello della sinistra di Palazzo e giunge sempre di più a sabotare le manifestazioni contro la guerra sia su scala locale che su scala nazionale, come è il caso della manifestazione del 19 a Roma.

Struggling day for women workers of different cleaning companies whom government and masters negate the minimum contract, normal wage conditions and elementary rights; women workers company and other services, a lot of women always more precarious, on which labour, on which misery wages of 350/450 euro monthly, companies enrich themselves, and sometimes, like old slave owners, decide who must and who mustn't continue to work, negating to them the certainty to nurture the sons. But these women cannot be submitted by no masters and this year too they will struggle on the 8th march.

Women workers form the textile companies in the south italy, that just on the 8th march will be on strike; women from the big to the small companies often hided to anyone so to better exploit; to fight against the masters that want to fire hundreds, after they have made big profits trough a super-exploitation, double-dipping work, completely irregular working hours and wages that in particular in south Italy are really a misery and an offense; the work is sometimes also full of humiliations, blackmails, but also of pressures and sexual harassments. The wonderful clothes sold at impossible prices! If they could speak they will tell the hard work, the fear of being sacked, the rage of accepting every blackmail, abuse, for a hundred euro.

Women workers of the big ILVA steel industry of Taranto that two years ago, together with the Slai Cobas, denounced and made possible his firing, and that on the next 22th march, before the court, will fight to condemn a boss, who protected by the "Riva system", made of abuses and blackmails, violated a women worker, and harassed many others.

All the women workers that Berlusconi's government has decided they must be inferior and discriminated although if they do the same job of the men, saying, trough the heinous "Biagi Law" that if they want to work they must accept half wage. Women that after the work hours must do somersault to balance the counts, fighting everyday against the hike in prices, against life conditions becoming always more precarious and miserable.

8th march is our day of fight, rebellion, unity, women strength against the masters, against he masters' government. It's the day in which in the whole world the most exploited and oppressed women stand up, and when they do this, they strike fear.

Delle lavoratrici delle ditte di pulizia Polignano, Vega, Bolognini, a cui il governo e i padroni negano anche un minimo contratto e ondizioni salariali e diritti elementari; le lavoratrici della Ditta Ladisa e dei servizi, le tante lavoratrici sempre più precarie, sul cui lavoro, sui cui miseri salari di 350/450 euro al mese si arricchiscono le Ditte, che a volte come degli schiavisti decidono chi a loro aggrada e chi no per continuare a lavorare, a cui viene negata la sicurezza di poter dare domani da mangiare ai figli. Queste lavoratrici che però nessun padrone può piegare e che anche quest'anno scendono in lotta l'8 marzo.

Delle lavoratrici delle fabbriche tessili di Martina Franca, di Montemesola, che proprio l'8 marzo scendono in sciopero, dalle grandi fabbriche alle piccole ditte spesso nascoste agli occhi di tutti per poter sfruttare meglio, per lottare contro i padroni che oggi parlano di licenziare centinaia di loro, dopo che hanno fatto grossi profitti su un lavoro, spesso fatto di supersfruttamento, di lavoro nero, con orari fuori da ogni regola e salari che, soprattutto da noi, sono una vera miseria e un'offesa, un lavoro a volte fatto anche di umiliazioni, di ricatti, ma anche di pressioni e molestie sessuali. I begli abiti luccicanti che sono venduti a prezzi impossibili nei negozi, se potessero parlare racconterebbero della fatica, della paura di essere licenziate, della rabbia di dover accettare ogni ricatto, sopruso, per poche centinaia di euro.

Delle lavoratrici dell'Ilva di Taranto che due anni fa con lo slai cobas denunciarono, fecero licenziare e il prossimo 22 marzo in Tribunale faranno condannare un loro capo che all'ombra del sistema Riva fatto di prevaricazione, ricatti, ha violentato una lavoratrice, e abusava di altre.

Di tutte le lavoratrici che il governo Berlusconi, ha deciso che devono essere inferiori e discriminate pur facendo lo stesso lavoro degli uomini, stabilendo con l'odiosa Legge Biagi che se vogliono lavorare devono accontentarsi di un salario di due volte più basso. Delle lavoratrici che dopo il lavoro devono far salti mortali per far quadrare i conti, che devono lottare ogni giorno contro il carovita, contro condizioni di vita che diventano sempre più precarie e misere.

L'8 marzo è la nostra giornata di lotta, di ribellione, di unità, di forza delle donne contro i padroni, contro il governo dei padroni. E' la giornata in cui in tutto il mondo le donne, più sfruttate e oppresse si alzano in piedi e quando lo fanno, fanno paura.
