AGAINST THE NEW BERLUSCONI'S GOVERNMENT: PROLETARIAN AND MASS OPPOSITION!

The electoral victory of Berlusconi reflects the need for the grand bourgeoisie to accelerate the reactionary process toward an anti-workers and anti-people regime to improve the role of Italy in the ongoing imperialist competition.

Berlusconi turns into rightist votes - broadly using at this aim the controlled mass media - the work made by the center-left governments and their programs serving the interests of the big capital. At the same time he gathers a large part of the votes of the people discontented with those center-left governments which showed themselves in the same way anti-workers and anti-people.

Mean while, the increasing discontent of the workers and masses and the potentialities of popular protest lead the bourgeoisie to give itself a strong government and a police state in order to front the new possible social and political conflicts.

As the false left has not been able to answer the demands of the masses, so it cannot now actually organize the opposition against the new government. Beyond the contradictions that will take place in Parliament, the center-left parliamentary opposition shares the baselines of the Berlusconi government program and principally has divergences on the methods and the managing of its application.

The Rifondazione Party (revisionist) and Trotskist groups, even if goes against this common program, can play a role of real opposition neither in the Parliament nor in the country, because of the line of Bertinotti and Trotskist, that aims at the construction of a French style "plural left" and makes this Party conciliating with the social-reactionary and social-imperialist "left" of the D'alema's Party.

The proletarian and masses opposition as well the political anti-fascist, anti-racist and anti-imperialist-globalization opposition today is represented by the forces acting outside of and against - or at least really independently from - all the official trade-unions and "left" Parties. This "front" can represent the reference, the starting point for a defence and counterattack against the new Berlusconi government and the state of Italian imperialist bourgeoisie. For it, such "front" needs to be based on the workers and proletarian centrality, on the genuine communist leadership of PCm and a proletarian mass organization leaded by PCm (cobas for the class union, massive anti-fascist anti-imperialist organizations, revolutionary proletarian feminist movement, etc.) and able to turn this opposition into revolutionary opposition aiming at the proletarian power seizure. In this situation, the plan of the ‘New Begin’ is a Party’s plan, that carries forward the proletarian tasks against the opportunism and the petit bourgeois "leftism".

PROLETARIANS BOYCOT ELECTIONS IN PALERMO

An unprecedented protest in our country and probably in all the imperialist countries took place in Palermo, the 10th of May. About one thousand workers, unemployed and students crossed the downtown carrying two banners "no job no vote, no rights no votes" and "the job is a right, the unemployment is your profit". Under the leadership of PCm, the "SLAI cobas for the class union" organized the protest. It was an exciting march, very noisy, with combative slogans. Demonstrating people did not accepted to follow the usual path along the downtown streets.

When the policemen told to proceed was impossible, because of an election meeting of Rutelli (the centre-left candidate prime minister), workers answered they will "participate" to the meeting. They arrived few hundreds meters far from Massimo square, challenging the blockade of the police cars and the front line of cops with anti-riots equipment. They did not stop and after they had a counter-meeting, gathering many other people that were not participating to the protest, they went on toward the symbol building of the government and the bourgeois state, the Prefettura. Along the way, they mockingly tore the maxi-posters of both the electoral fronts.

Then, they fronted a new big blockade of policemen threatening "we had orders to not let you pass!". A big bonfire of electoral certificates ended the protest, the highest expression of the class struggle in Italy during this electoral process.

This protest was the advanced point of the campaign for the proletarian boycott, which has seen a number of struggles we organized in various towns; specially in the south of Italy. It has been the political expression of those social struggles during the electoral process that had their epicentre in the hard struggles, with clashes, of the unemployed, the precarious workers and LSU (socially useful workers) in Naples. The bourgeois, opportunist and false revolutionary press kept silence on this protest. It is more than natural and very eloquent.

We have demonstrated that the proletarian boycott is possible, starting from the real consciousness levels of the masses. We opened a way that is a strategic indication and acting praxis. We did all this advancing in the construction in Italy of the Maoist Communist Party, in the campaign for the New Begin, thanks to the consequently proletarian mass line, to a leadership that is forging itself in the fire of the class struggle and in close linkage with the masses.

May First: Red, Proletarian, and Internationalist!

A new great wave of the world proletarian revolution is advancing today in the globe. Its advanced point is the people's war leaded by the Maoists in Peru, Nepal, as well as in India, Philippines, and Turkey. In many other country oppressed by the imperialism the masses rise and struggle with the weapons in their hands, even if these struggles are not leaded by proletarian forces, through genuine Communist Parties. In the very core of the imperialist system, a crisis that has no solution is deepening. The imperialist governments cannot hold peacefully any of their world summit, although they unchain all their armed force against the struggling masses. More and more the proletarians, the unemployed, the women, the youth in the imperialist country feel the need to make an end of a system based on the exploitation and the oppression, the repression, the racism and the war; even if the way of the revolution has not yet been affirmed in its universal form of the people's war, as the only solution that can give to the proletarians and to the masses the political power and the liberation in a world scale.

From the Andes to the Himalayas, from Cincinnati to Berlin, from Prague to Nice, from Naples to Quebec, from Istanbul to Bombay, from Gaza to Bogota, a strong shout rises:

Death to the imperialism, death to the fascism and the reaction, death to the exploitation and the oppression!
Long Live the Red and Proletarian May First!
Long Live the May First under the Flags of the Marxism-Leninism-Maoism!
Long Live the PCP, the CPN(M), the TKP(ML) and all the new Maoist Parties united in the ranks of the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement!
People's War until Communism!

It is in the core of the working class, amongst the exploited proletarians and the immigrates, the precarious workers and the unemployed in our country that we have to celebrate this May First, organizing the struggle, raising the class-consciousness, forging the leadership and the cadres to develop and spread the Cobas and all the form of self-organization necessary for advancing the struggle.

It is working to organize the rebellion of the women as powerful force of the struggle, of the transformation; to give class strength and revolutionary perspective to the rebel youth in the struggle against the new fascists of all kinds, against the state repression and the every-day oppression. It is defending the communist and struggling vanguards charged with crimes and shut up in the jails that we help in making this May First a day of genuine red and proletarian struggle.

Above all, we must now bring our best energies to build, in the fire of class struggle, the new revolutionary Party of the proletariat, the maoist Communist Party, to turn the actual struggles into revolutionary political struggle, according the strategy of the people's war, to overthrow the old and new governments of the bourgeoisie, fighting the modern fascism and the racism, getting rid of the rotten illusions of the electoralism, of the pacifism and of the opportunism, mainly embodied by Rifondazione Comunista and supported by the recycled Trotskist group and by the eternal political stratum of the movementist autonomen.
