Solidarity message: On the Occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the reestablishment of the Communist Party of the Philippines

Dear comrades,

We salute with great joy the celebration of the 35° anniversary of you glorious Communist Party of the Philippines, a party under the guide of the Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.

The advance of the revolution in the Philippines, in the context of the current international situation, represents an important and decisive contribution, not only within the region in which your Party operates but in the framework of the strength balance in a world scale, between the imperialist forces, headed by the Yankee imperialism, and the revolutionary forces of the proletariat and the oppressed peoples of the world. We live in a historical phase in which we need respond to "endless war" of the imperialists with the universal strategy of the people's war.

In our country, our Party, in its initial building, is struggling, in the flames of the class struggle and closely linked to the masses, to actualise the historical role of the Italian proletariat and communist movement that all the peoples in the world know and appreciate.

In its history, the communist party in Italy relied on the role and the theory of a great communist, the comrade Antonio Gramsci, and under the guidance of the Communist Party, in our country the antifascist Resistance has been a first great experience of people's war in an imperialist country.

The revisionist degeneration of the PCI, headed by the renegade Togliatti, in the 70s met a first response from the Italian communists who raised up the red flag, reopened the road and demonstrated the actuality of the armed struggle on the heart of an imperialist country.

Drawing lessons from this rich history the Partito Comunista maoista has been formed up to apply the Marxism-Leninism-Maoism on the concrete reality and to turn it into a new begin of the people's war in our country. We know that in the course of our work we will rely on the brotherly internationalist solidarity of the Communist Party of the Philippines.

Comrades, it is time to strengthen our direct relationships, to increase amongst the Italian proletarians the understanding and consciousness about the Philippine revolution, as well as it is important that the Philippine people know the current development of the class struggle in our country and the role of the proletarian organised vanguard detachment. For this reason, we seize the opportunity of this important celebration of your 35th anniversary to launch the proposal of a bilateral meeting between our parties and to organise a tour of public meetings with your comrades in our country during the next year.

Long live the proletarian internationalism!
Death to the imperialism!
Victory for the people's wars in the world!
